It’s been just over a month since the 2014 Youthprise Summit: Youth and Adults Working in Concert. We’ve continued to celebrate the event and our partnership with the Minnesota Orchestra, Meeting of the Mindz, Roberto Rivera and David Rojas, vocalist Somi, and the more than 250 youth and adults who attended the event. Brooklyn Bridge Alliance Youth Employment Initiative

This summer, Youthprise partnered this summer with the Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth, one of our citywide systems building partners, to leverage a $100,000 Youthprise investment that was matched by more than $150,000 in contributions from local businesses, foundations and public jurisdictions in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center. The funds will be used to launch a comprehensive youth employment initiative in the communities. Check out this news story on the initiative.
