Youthprise is a resource to youth-serving organizations and systems throughout Minnesota. Youthprise’s mission is to reduce disparities with and for Minnesota youth, and does this by mobilizing and investing resources, investing knowledge, and advocating for change. The Program and Grants Manager, working under the Grants and Compliance Officer, will be responsible for coordinating and administering new and existing Youthprise grant programs. Manages all aspects of grant programs including grant program oversight and administration: grant application/proposal review and processing; coordinates grant review committees and youth panels; oversees grant program evaluation and formulation of goals and objectives; prepares reports; and presents information as needed to internal and external groups. Provides excellent support and relationship building with diverse stakeholders including current and prospective grantees and partners. Some travel required.
Schedule: Full-time, regular employee
Compensation and Benefits: This is an exempt role with a pay range of $62,500-$70,713, depending on qualifications. Youthprise offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Education, Experience & Skills:
Minimum undergraduate degree in related field. Minimum one to three years of professional experience working with grants or program administration in related philanthropic, nonprofit or government service environments. Experience working with youth and basic knowledge of positive youth development practices. Grant program management and event coordination experience. Strong organizational skills, and ability to coordinate various responsibilities and prioritize conflicting demands and deadlines. Ability to effectively communicate in public environment. Effective relationship and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a mission-driven agency whose stakeholders and staff exhibit significant diversity with respect to race, ethnicity, gender orientation, socio-economic status, nationality and religion.
