Youthprise announces our 2020 General Operation Grantees!

Non-profit organizations are increasingly asked to do more to support the myriad of needs of youth in our communities. While projects and programs are developed and supported to respond to the needs of youth, oftentimes the operational needs of the nonprofits are not prioritized or supported to the same degree as projects and programs.
In November of 2019, Youthprise’s Board approved 60 General Operating grants totaling $535,000, forty-nine at the $10k level and eleven at the $5k level. This funding supports Minnesota-based youth-serving nonprofit organizations. The funding is focused on providing support for mission-related core functions that enhance organizational or programmatic operations.
Youthprise believes in investing in well-managed organizations that are led by the communities they serve and that center youth in decision-making. Further, in alignment with our mission, Youthprise values organizations that are committed to dismantling structures of oppression that hinder the ability of youth to lead healthy and vibrant lives.
